Emotions are the most reliable source of deciphering our needs, and each of us must be able to articulate our needs for more connection and ease. A constant stream of emotion runs throughout our days and we can get stuck in some of these emotions. Working to identify emotions and learning what they are telling us will prevent us from getting stuck in an unpleasant spot for too long.
Emotions. We avoid them, fake them, suppress them, and distract ourselves from our most important emotional experiences. We experience multiple emotions at one time. It is fascinating to me that when asked, “How are you?” we seem to have the automatic response of sugarcoating our truth.
